Not until Christian Science was...
Not until Christian Science was presented to me was I satisfied that I had found a religion which could be applied to my daily living. It came at a time when I did not know where to turn for help to solve the problems confronting me. I was discouraged and despondent, and I wondered what life was all about, but thanks to God, who gave us this scientific Christianity to solve all our problems, my doubts were quickly dispelled.
My first healing was of a recurrent boil of years' standing after I had been told by the last attending physician that I must have an operation should the condition manifest itself again.
The healing of periodic 'headaches was slow because there was much fear to overcome. But valuable lessons were learned during this time, and many unlovely traits of character were overcome, such as impatience, resentment, and a quick temper.
