It is a privilege to tell of some of the instances of healing...
It is a privilege to tell of some of the instances of healing which I have experienced through the study and application of Christian Science. These include the overcoming of discouragement. At one time I had been employed with one firm for nearly two years, when I was suddenly told that I was to be included in a layoff. I had been very happy in my position, and since my dismissal was not because of unsatisfactory work, this seemed very unfair to me. I had so definitely decided that this was what I wanted for my lifework that I was at a loss to know where to look for new employment. Since I had been taught in a Christian Science Sunday School, and at home, to turn to God in time of trouble, it was only natural that I should seek the solution of this problem with the aid of a Christian Science practitioner. Two days later I obtained a position that proved to be much more satisfactory than my former one. Whenever I have been confronted with the need of making important decisions, I have always remembered how I was led through Christian Science to find my right place, and have known that I should continue to be led by this truth.
Membership in a Christian Science college organization while I was attending a university brought me many blessings.
I am grateful for the healing of a broken collarbone and a sprained ankle; also for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for class instruction. I am most grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for the truth about God, which brings peace and harmony to all who apply it.
