It is with a heart full of gratitude that I offer this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me. Among the first blessings for which I am especially grateful is the fact that I have never known any other religion than Christian Science, as my parents took up this study at the time of my birth; and I have never had a drop of medicine. When influenza, chicken pox, headaches, coughs, colds, measles, and other diseases came along, Christian Science was turned to and invariably was the means of healing the condition in question.
I was sent to a Christian Science Sunday School when very young, and continued there until the age of twenty. I was very grateful that my mother always left the matter of attending Sunday school to me, and I am more grateful that my teachers brought out the wonderful truths in such a manner that I had the desire to attend. In the last few years, since I have been away from Sunday school, and sometimes from home, I have found that the lessons taught there have come to my aid beautifully and readily in times of need, as only the truth can when we turn to God for guidance.
School brought many opportunities to prove the everpresence of God. Examinations, test times, were made easier by the constant realization that there is only one Mind, God, and that He is ever present. At the time I entered high school the possibilites of my ever attending college were very remote, from a financial standpoint. Metaphysical work was done as to the right courses to take, and finally I chose those that made college entrance possible. Before I graduated from high school the way was provided for my entrance into the higher institution.
