We have had abundant proof in our home during many years of the truth of Christian Science. One summer our three small daughters and I very happily set out for a vacation at a northern lake resort. We had scarcely got settled there when various physical discords began to appear, the most serious being a case of eye infection in our youngest child, then three years old. We were in the midst of a cold, rainy spell, and our discomfort seemed aggravated by inadequate clothing and lack of heat.

When I telephoned my husband of our condition, he replied that he would at once come to our aid. As the time of his arrival, so eagerly awaited, drew near, word came that he had met with an automobile accident, and would continue the journey by rail. During the period of waiting for him—some twelve hours—there were many fears about his safety to be overcome. Of great comfort in this time of stress was our Leader's beautiful poem beginning,
