With a heart filled with gratitude I wish to give the following testimony. I was troubled with many difficulties, such as weak eyes, sciatica, hemorrhoids accompanied by bowel trouble, and various other complaints. Medical help was of no avail; hence life did not seem worth living. Then God led us to Christian Science. At first I was opposed to it, but a visit to a Christian Science practitioner taught me better, and I had a proof of God's love at once. My eyes were healed, and to-day I can read all of our literature without glasses. This healing occurred in November, 1923. Through further treatment in Christian Science I was healed of the other complaints.

In April, 1925, a daughter was born, although doctors had always told me I must never become a mother. Christian Science treatment was asked for, and the birth took place without complications, even though we did not disregard the midwife's wish to have a doctor in attendance. The development and unfolding of our child is a further proof of divine Love, and we are endeavoring to learn more and more of Christian Science and to render thanks by acknowledging and proving Christ, Truth, in every emergency. We are also profoundly grateful to our dear Leader, who has shown us this beautiful way.
