I wish to express my gratitude for the happiness and joy some understanding of the truth as taught in Christian Science has' brought into my experience. When I began the study I was undergoing much suffering and was often ill. My first healing was of an affliction of the eyes. I had suffered greatly with them,—from birth no doubt, for I never remember the time when they were well. At the time I took up the study of Christian Science I was wearing the best glasses I could get, and could use my eyes very little for reading or any close work. Everything known had been tried, and I had given up all thought of ever being well and having perfect eyesight. Then I decided to try Christian Science, with the hope that I might not have to wear the glasses all the time. The suffering had been intense, and the healing of all pain was instantaneous, and I have never had to wear glasses since. I am so grateful for the knowledge that what God created is perfect and that in God's creation there can be no imperfection of any kind.
