I am thankful to God for the many blessings that come to me each day through the study and application of Christian Science. I have been healed of many discords, mental and physical, and I am grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for bringing to light in this day and age the teachings and healing work of Jesus' time. About two years ago I had a severe attack of neuritis in my left arm and shoulder, which was very painful. I applied the truth to the best of my understanding, yet each day the condition seemed worse, until I was unable to comb my hair or to dress without assistance. I was employed in a downtown store and in our line of work it was the busiest time of the year, and I had a great fear that I might not be able to continue. I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner, which was lovingly given, and through her clear understanding I was enabled to go through that busy time and to do all that was required of me, and at the end of about ten days I was quite free from all pain. I was certainly grateful for this and for many other healings.

My mother also has had many blessings and has been healed of influenza, trouble with her teeth, which caused her much suffering, and fear of lack. In a time of seeming lack divine Love supplied all our needs. The Christian Science periodicals also have their place in our home and have served to uplift and cheer us from day to day, and for all these blessings we are both very grateful.
