I feel it a privilege to write a few words of praise for the wonderful aid I have obtained morally, mentally, and physically through Christian Science. From childhood I labored under a trouble diagnosed by materia medica as a partial dislocation of the left hip and practically a chalk knuckle at the knee. I had but one movement of the leg, namely, straight forward and backward, and readily tired from the least exertion. To-day, through the realization of the perfection of God's creation and the help of a loving Christian Science practitioner, the old conditions have changed. I have perfect control and use of the leg and all sense of tiredness has disappeared. My improvement has been so great that nine months ago I was accepted as fit for service by United States Army physicians, who disqualified me as physically unfit for service at the time of America's entry into the world conflict. It can be plainly understood why I say that words fail me to express my gratitude for Christian Science, when I say that a few years ago, after a consultation by some of the most skilled surgeons of the East, I was informed that I had but one chance in five hundred for improvement through an operation.

I am deeply thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for revealing to the world this wonderful truth.
