Although I came into Christian Science for relief from physical disorders, I have greatly improved mentally and best of all spiritually, until to-day, after five years of daily study of the Bible Lessons, together with our other literature, I feel like a new person. In the fall of 1913, while making preparation for entering a local hospital to undergo a surgical operation, I was led to wait, and after not quite three months of earnest study of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was very glad to learn that this operation would not be necessary. There is still an occasional fear of a return of the trouble, but I know that with faithful mental work on my part this too will be destroyed ere long. Catarrh of the nose has entirely disappeared, and chronic sick headaches, which had caused me much misery off and on for nearly six years, have almost been forgotten.
In daily silent prayer I can never forget to praise God, "from whom all blessings flow," while also thanking our revered Leader for her clear interpretation of the Scriptures.
