Three and a half years ago, I came from Australia to London straight to Christian Science. I don't think there could have been a more wretched, discontented, selfish, woman than I was when I landed. Many times I had tried to find God but could not, and had then made up my mind not to try any more, and each year I was becoming more unlovable and unloving.

When I read the book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker G. Eddy, I knew I had found the truth, and the joy and peace I tasted then has helped me to hold on through the many struggles, physical and mental, I have had since.

Christian Science has enabled me to overcome hate and a sulky temper which was a misery to myself and all I was with, and in place of morbid depression, I am beginning to realize that the joy of the Lord is my strength.
