Notice
The Church By-Laws Article XXIII., Sections 4 and 5, forbid a member to report to the Pastor Emeritus cases of discipline, and they prohibit one member from defaming another member. Also Article XXVII., Section 3, requires a member to tell another member his fault according to Scriptural rule.
It is deemed but just that, after a member has been disciplined, he should be forgiven in accordance with Jesus' teaching and example. In restoring such an one to the privileges of full membership he is afforded one more opportunity to prove his worthiness thereof, and thus the Golden Rule is obeyed.
William B. Johnson.
