I came to my office this morning with a friend who suffered for several years from locomotor ataxia. It was only a few weeks ago that he came into my office with uncertain step, supported by a walking-stick. This morning he walked up and down stairs with me to the train, and from the train to our offices, with the same freedom and certainty that guided my steps. His joy and thankfullness to God and to Christian Science brought back to me the passage of Scripture wherein when Jesus healed them of their infirmities, they rejoiced and "thanked God who had given such power [understanding of Truth] unto men."
