Chronic Diseases Healed
About a year ago I was healed of a complication of diseases, some of many years standing and pronounced by physicians to be chronic. I had been in this city about fifteen months, during which time I was a helpless invalid, being confined to my bed most of the time. My husband sent me to one of the best hospitals in the city that I might receive medical attention. The physician attending me said my case was hopeless without an operation. That I had ovarian trouble in its worst form.
As neither my husband nor I would consent to an operation, the physician declared he could do nothing for my case, so I returned home worse than when I left.
I was afterwards under two other physicians, one of whom conscientiously did everything in his power to help me, but I failed to improve. The third who attended me also recommended an operation as the only hope, and declined to assume charge of my case.
