Service

ONLY to hold a cup of water coolTo lips that thirst for welling drafts of Life,Instead of earth's salt pools of bitternessBrimmed with illusions—This is what I ask,Leaning on strength divine to do my joyful task.

Today

Today is mine!An opportunity supreme to do His will,Forget this human sense of self, and be so stillThat I shall recognize my Father's voice,And in irradiance of Life rejoice!

Gratitude

Rich blessings fill my every hour,Love's power protects me from all harm;I walk secure from every ill,Held by God's everlasting arm.

Present Praise

The breaking morn, refreshed with sparkling dew;The busy noontide too;And radiant evening, coloring the west,With night, for needful rest,Are not, as heretofore, mere fleeting time,But cycles for sublimeAnd ceaseless thanks to God, wherein to bringOur instant praise, and sing! For now, unfolding to our inward sightBy Scripture's unlocked light,Is seen a nobler man, gracious and kind,Likeness of perfect Mind,Reflecting love, joy, goodness, peace, and health—Spirit's unfailing wealth! In man's glad sonship, then, let us rejoiceWith heart and ampler voice,And thanks unceasing to the Father giveIn whom we ever live.

Confidence

I cannot doubt, my loving Father leads,And frees my path from thorns and tangled weeds.

Restoration

I will restore to you the wasted years; The ravages of time, disease, and wantShall fade from thought.

There is No Fear in Love

There is no fear in that deep tenderness,That vast enfolding peace whose source is Love;No cause for fear, e'en in the wildernessOf time and space.

Consolation

Think not because we cannot seeHis form so dear,Love failed us here;In Mind no separation can there be,God's children dwell in Love's eternity.
