The Way

Our days with trouble are besetWhen solely for ourselves we live,Until we learn that what we getDepends in turn on what we give.

The Broadening View

Our bards of old have told in charming rhymeOf unrequited love and chance misdeed;Of loss of friends and fortune at a timeWhen they of peace of mind seemed most in need.

My Friend

I thank Thee, dear God,For this wonder-filled day.

Gratitude

How may we best expressOur gratitude to God,Whose love and tenderness,Whose kind, correcting rod,Have His protection broughtE'en when we knew it not?

God's Reign

And still God reigns! His peace abounds for aye,Changeless and sure.

"Be still"

Oh , give me wisdom, Lord, that I may knowWhen not to speak, what not to say.
