God really was with me

I was able to make my way back to the parking lot, feeling as though I had just witnessed a miracle. But I knew from Sunday School that it hadn’t been a miracle; it had been proof of God’s saving presence and power.
Ever thought you had your plans all figured out, only to discover you were headed in the wrong direction? This author did­ and struggled to know what to do. Turning to God for guidance wasn’t her first thought, but she was so glad when she did.

My prayer to You, Father

To those looking for comfort and guidance, this poem shares a humble prayer to the divine Father of all. 
This week’s poem is in support of all those emerging gently out of lockdown and learning to “soar” again. We can lean on God rather than feeling as though we need to do everything on our own. 
Loving righteously, without false judgment, is essential to healing in Christian Science. It helps us see in ourselves and others God’s uninterrupted, perfect expression of good. 
After injuring her foot during tae kwon do, this teenager put into practice what she’d been learning in Christian Science Sunday School. The result? Healing.

Innocent one

As many begin to emerge from a pandemic, we needn’t be burdened by past experiences. This poem shares the freedom we may find by loving others as ourself. 
I had experienced before that God’s ever-present grace is sufficient to help in all kinds of situations.
She was sure she didn’t want to take another vacation with her family. But as the time approached, this writer realized she was feeling conflicted about the whole thing. Could she really get an answer from God about something as “trivial” as this trip?
