Never displaced from good 

People in Ethiopia, where I am living, are being internally displaced because of an escalating civil war, and some are fleeing to neighboring countries. I have been praying because I have been deeply distressed by the magnitude of this problem and what I have been hearing in the news and in the community around me.

Already there 

We each can find safe harbor against waves of fear and danger. 

Alone at prom 

When you think of prom, going alone might not exactly rise to the top of your list of things to look forward to. But for this author, it turned out to be not just a positive experience, but also an empowering spiritual lesson.
After just a week and a half, my wrist was completely fine.

Love’s dwelling 

May we all feel the mothering love of our Father-Mother God. 

Finding Mother 

What does getting to know God as our heavenly Mother feel like? Words are insufficient!
Even when we are far away from someone we love, heartfelt and dedicated prayer affirming God’s goodness and loving care has a very healing effect.

God is in the details 

We can remain firm in our conviction of God’s ever-presence and know that God manages every intimate detail of our lives for good, for order, for peace, for harmony, and for health.

When I lost my AirPods case

One of the joys of shining by God’s light is discovering just how natural and uncomplicated it is. It requires no special talent or experience, but just a humble willingness to unite our thoughts with the one God, the source of all power, inspiration, and goodness.
