This relationship
God is our Father and our Mother, our Minister and the great Physician: He is man’s only real relative on earth and in heaven.

When human experience seems difficult,
there is one relationship needed more than any other.
It alone will satisfy our desire.
Like the psalmist, we can say,
“Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is
none upon earth that I desire beside thee.” Psalm 73:25
This connection cannot be found in another;
it is the basis of our relation to every other.
For in the security of this One
we do not make demands of others
or try to manipulate them to get our way.
We love simply because we know that we are loved by Love,
expecting nothing in return.
This relationship promises, “You will seek Me and find Me,
when you search for Me with all your heart,”
and God says, “I will be found by you.” Jeremiah 29:13, 14, New King James Version
