A watch for peace
Margaret Hardwick
Our dear Master, Jesus,
Taught through his life divine
That God, his loving Father,
Is also yours and mine.
We have a daily duty
To pray, to heed the good,
For surely that will lead us
As God is understood.
We can see the virtue
In everyone we find
As we know that we express
One gentle, loving Mind.
God’s blessings are available
To people all around.
We want to feel His love
And know that we are found
Free of alienation
And full of heaven’s grace.
Let’s be alert and watchful
For peace in every place.
