Where is church, really?
With material, unreal estate, what’s considered most important is “location,
location, location” and a beautiful facility.
But with spiritual, real estate, what’s most important is not location but
healing—the only “proof of its utility.” 1
Are we concerned that people will not come for spiritual refreshment and healing?
Christ Jesus said, “I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me,” 2
—without trying to be appealing.
That’s because he knew that true attraction is consecrated thought,
and he strove continuously to prove, and look for, what God had already wrought.
He wasn’t concerned about where he might or might not be,
knowing that omnipresent Love was all he could see.
We, too, can focus on this rock of Truth, this divine Principle, in every land,
because wherever we are, it’s our duty and privilege to recognize, to prove, and to understand.
