Daybreak

The dawn is now unfolding,
  Revealing Truth that saves,
Overcoming night-born fear,
  Advancing over waves.

The daystar’s always shining
  Bright as Kingdom’s key.
Yet, sunny skies I did not make;
They are of You, not me.

All darkness is illusion,
  With gratitude I’ve learned.
Heaven’s grace bestowed on us
  Is never something earned.

Each day’s forever breaking
  As Christ unlocks, unchains.
Unseen by Love, disease and sin
  Dissolve as empty claims.

No longer boxing shadows
As rays are born of sun,
We each are Soul’s expression and
  Together we are one.

It’s our eternal birthright
Since ere the stars did shine.
We never are without the light
. . . For light
     . . . and Life
        . . . are thine.
