The spiritual revolution

note:
Before entering into the substance of the discussion, perhaps a word of explanation is in order. Doubtless many who read this are Christian Scientists. Doubtless many are not. You should understand that what I present is not a denominational speech or lecture. It is a discussion of religion and science in the modern world, presented by a journalist. The journalist is also a life-long Christian Scientist. And 1966 is the hundredth anniversary of the discovery of the religion of Christian Science, by a consecrated New England woman, Mary Baker Eddy, who later established the church to which so many of you belong, and the newspaper which I serve. Much more could be said about her contribution to mankind, but that is not the purpose of today's talk.
