Match point

Originally published in the 1972 pamphlet titled "A Proving Ground"  

 Frank was having difficulty getting his first service in. If it wasn't for the heavy topspin on his softer second serve, he wouldn't even have reached the semifinals of the Under-18 tennis tournament.

Now it was match point and Frank had a comfortable lead.

"An ace now would wrap things up nicely," he thought to himself.
