One-to-one sharing

There are few more effective ways of bringing the healing and liberating truths of Christian Science to another person's attention than through personal contact. This was the method primarily employed by Christ Jesus in his ministry, as it was that of the disciples and the apostles. After her discovery of Christian Science, Mrs. Eddy lost no opportunity to approach people individually and present this truth.

As Christian Science began to spread, individuals carried it one-to-one around the world. With the establishment of the church organization to add to the outreach of church services, there were and are the Christian Science periodicals, including The Christian Science Monitor, the Reading Room, the lectures, radio and television programs, and other means of sharing. However, it is interesting to note how many report that their interest was awakened by an individual offering them Christian Science by sharing the textbook or some literature, or inviting them to a church service, a lecture, or the Reading Room. One-to-one in action!
