How a bully became a friend

Diane was a bully.

Should I sleep with him?

When she ran into a good-looking guy far from home, this author found things moving fast—and she was into it. But right at the moment when they were about to sleep together, something even better happened—something that’s continued to help and bless her even years later.

A peaceful breakup?

I could see the importance of listening only to God, but I had to start doing it.

No more stage fright

How did this author go from debilitating stage fright to being able to sing freely in front of an audience? Learning more about Christ Jesus’ teachings proved to be the key.
One day in ballet class I hurt my spine and my chest a bit when I tumbled forward.
I didn’t want anything to interfere with the beautiful day I was having.
She couldn’t stand her classmate. Even being in the same room together was awful. If only this girl could change, then things would be better—or so this author thought…until she really started to pray about the situation.

A good idea from God

When Dwayne was little, one of his favorite things to do was spend time with his shovels, toys, and trucks in his wooden sandbox.
I wanted to have a permanent healing by relying on prayer.

Me? Beautiful?

From the time she was in second grade, this author was bullied for having so many freckles, and she felt the only answer was to change her appearance. But when hiding her freckles didn’t work, she learned she could find more lasting self-worth by understanding beauty and identity in a completely different way: spiritually.

How can I feel loved?

Growing up, this author never felt loved, and as a teenager, she searched desperately for a way to fill that gaping hole. But it wasn’t until she was introduced to Christian Science that she began to see a new dimension to love—one that finally satisfied her.
I used to have not-nice dreams, and I was scared to go to sleep at night.
