Alone , alone, upon the boundless sea,Tossed by the waves and driven by the wind—A voice from out the darkness comes to me:But look to God, and comfort you shall find.

The Words of My Mouth

Let not mine own unguarded wordIn thoughtless haste go forthTo judge another's word or deed,Its vanity or worth; But rather let me silent beIn patient, calm duress,And set a seal upon my lipsUntil my thought can bless.

Supply

Once in time of dearth Elijah cameTo a widow at Zarephath's gate; And he, the man of God, asked her to makeA little cake for him, before she ate.

Truth's Lesson

Each day I'm learning how to beJust a little more like thee,O Lord, so tender, strong, and pure;O thou who didst the cross endure; That we the way might know.

The Comforter

There is a peace that passeth understanding; There is a Love that healeth all our fears; There is a joy that's far above, transcendingThe dreams and hopes of all our mortal years.

O Love Divine

O Love divine, with humble heart,I pray for grace to know Thy will,So I may learn to do my partAnd love the place I am to fill.

I Shall Not Want

I shall not want—No matter what the seeming lack; With God my source of all supply,Naught is held back.
