IN A READING ROOM

Here , in this quiet room Love dwells,That "period love" which fear dispels;And here to troubled hearts peace comesWith healing balm,And eyes tear-dimmed grow bright and glowAs vision clears to seeMan's heritage of sonship to the perfect One.

SOUNDPROOF

There is no tumult in the sun'sSure rising, its visual ascent,Or in earth's swift, rotating runs—All noiseless, orderly, unspent.

SAFEKEEPING

Our God is good to Israel,To all who make His Word their choice.
