If envy, curiosity,Tinge of jealousy,Should say to me,"May we come in?

FROM SENSE TO SOUL

Not enough—flower-petaled beauty—Fragrance also there:Not enough—soft-feathered bird-throat—Music filling the air.

SPIRITUAL STILLNESS

The Psalmist sings, "Be still, and knowThat I am God"; and those who heedDiscover Love's rich overflowMakes green the wilderness of need;

PERFECTION

Perfection is no abstract stateNor wistful hovering of vague desireFor a mutation somewhat higherTo make us somehow better than we are—Perhaps to give us kinship to a star.

IMMORTAL FRUIT

To taste of fruit immortalseek Truth through Spirit's portal;unlock the gatethat opens unto Soulwith love, and let the wholeof heaven hereand now appear.
