I've heard enoughof the oldtiredrepetitiveover and over againjingle that mortal mind sings—the still sickstill poorstill sadsong of false beliefs.

REMEDY

The thing was, you see,that expectancy of goodhad dulledunder layers of daily dust,the shine tarnishedby need for polishing.

HYMN TO GOD THE GIVER

He givesshape and configuration,color and substance / sweet savorof life

WHEN IS NOW

When "if God does" gives way to "since God is,"and all the maybe's melt to certainly;when my and mine yield cordially to His,and "here's for you" submerges "what's for me?

THE HEALING CHRIST

It well may want for something otherThan words alone to heal our brotherAnd ourselves: the unction ofCompassionate, unfailing love,Which Christ—how tenderly—impartsTo hungering and humble hearts.

OCCUPATION

I could never be a mortal.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Love my neighbor as myself!That was his urgent demand.
