The test of prayer

When we pray, we step forth on holy ground. Knowing what that means and learning to test the substance of our prayer are of tremendous import.

What do we mean by scientific?

The word scientific is frequently used by Christian Scientists. A fresh understanding of its meaning can make a surprising difference.
Putting up with something that has no right to exist prolongs it. But standing up for the presence and reality of what God has created brings healing.

On being the effect of God

We don't have to accept as our own anything less than good. God is the only valid cause, and His effects are wholly good.
Liberty can become license without spiritual growth and maturity.
A lie left to itself is not so soon destroyed as it is with the help of truth-telling.
What's wrong with a "little" lie, a little bending of the truth?
