In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

We all need Church

Supporting and participating in church isn’t a burden but a joy. It’s an opportunity to transform lives for the better.

Spiritual forgetting

In pure moments of Christlike illumination, when we awaken to God’s eternal peace and harmony, both evil and the memory of it disappear.

An “Even if” protest

Listening prayerfully to Love, God, reverses every “What if.” Love says, “Even if things feel troubling, I am here, and you cannot be separated from Me.”
Whatever abilities or knowledge we appear to possess are minuscule compared to the infinite capacities possessed by God, omniscient Mind, who created all and knows all.
After applying for her dream job, this author thought she had her life perfectly mapped out . . . until nothing went the way she expected. Frustrated, she knew she had to find a way to see things differently. But how?

Scorpion sting averted

This experience showed me how important our daily protective prayer is, and that whatever the circumstances, God’s help is always available.

The Story of Jonah

Jonah’s story is all about how God is always with us.

Living in the now

We don’t negate the good we have previously enjoyed, but we can’t let nostalgia color our present with a sense of loss.
There is no force opposed to God or able to put up barriers between right ideas and their manifestation.
