In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

When it seems impossible to forgive, we can follow the Master’s example of asking God to forgive others “for they know not what they do.”
Whenever there is a challenge before us, we can affirm that we are the likeness of divine Spirit, the image of God, and therefore the picture of harmony, health, and happiness.
We can probably all do a better job of being part of the “cleanup crew” in our own thinking. I’ve found the most effective way to do this is by allowing our thoughts, and in turn our actions, to be impelled by God.
What a burden was lifted when I learned that the God I had been seeking is divine Love and that He does not know evil of any sort or cause or allow sickness!

What is your birthright?

Looking to God as the one Parent has guided me in parenting.
It was so clear to me that this was the God-directed path that I stopped worrying and felt grateful for God’s guidance.
The higher definition of new must include increased spirituality. Change for its own sake, or the acquisition of something that might appear attractive because it’s different, is not necessarily true progress.
Spirit as the divine potter became the basis of my prayer. I knew that God was continuing to care for every detail of my being.
Instead of focusing on an outcome that seemed on the surface humanly fair, I just kept going deeper into my love for God and desire to be obedient to the highest justice there could be. In this way I became less and less attached to a specific outcome.

Be an ambassador for Christ

When we take up the challenge of living love, communicating through love, and seeing everyone as God’s child, we have opportunities to bless and heal.

Welcome the good thoughts

Her mom explained that she could consider each thought that came to her to see if it was from God.

Progress for Africa

Our oneness with infinite, omnipresent Love governs us—not colonialism, injustice, or poverty. Understanding this fundamental relationship to God enables us to prove our present freedom, wherever we may live.
