The statement that Christian Science is neither Christian nor scientific has been made and corrected so often that it would seem unnecessary to go over the ground again.
I quite agree that the reference to Christian Science in the sermon reported in a late issue was uncalled for.
Christian Scientists regard evil in precisely the same manner that Jesus regarded it when he cast out devils and healed the sick.
Christian Science healing is not based upon a belief in the influence of the human mind over matter, but upon the spiritual truth that man is the mental manifestation of infinite Mind and that Mind can control its mental creation Man is really mental, although he appears to the senses to be material.
To my sense of things, the remedy for the condition that faces us [the negro problem] demands more than schools, or reformatories, or prisons.
As Christian Scientists we take "the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life".
In a recent issue of your publication there appears a challenge from an osteopathic physician to meet him in debate.

If one is ever struggling with a belief of illness, thought has to be carefully examined, for we know that all conditions are mental.
