Ministers in charge of the orthodox churches complain that their congregations are small, that there is no enthusiasm any more, and it is hard to stir up an interest in the work of the church and to secure additions to the membership.
From the time the Christian Science movement was started, something approaching half a century ago, down to the present, it has been usual for people who never think at all to follow the lead of others who have thought if possible less, in speaking of a Christian Science which is neither Christian nor scientific.

, as we often do, how willing Christian Scientists are to bear testimony to the healing power of Truth outside of the regular Wednesday evening meetings, we sometimes marvel that there should be any hesitancy on the part of those benefited to testify at these meetings.
Work
in the Christian Science Sunday school is often called foundational for the reason that the children who attend the Sunday school expect to become members of our churches, inasmuch as a child who attends long enough to catch a glimpse of the truth is likely to be a Christian Scientist always.
