our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, provided in the Church Manual definite opportunities for the expression of gratitude for healings received in Christian Science, she was undoubtedly far more keenly aware of the import of acknowledging such benefits than is the average student.
Among
the basic teachings of Christian Science is that of the complete separateness of the spiritual truth about man as the image and likeness of God, divine Mind, and the false, physical theory of man as a mortal with a material beginning and end.
