Just ask

Some of us have a lot going for us; some of us don’t. At least, that was what this author thought. Could prayer help her see herself in a new light?

Far from home, but close to God

One of the things that had excited me about this trip was that I was looking at it as an opportunity to learn more about my relationship to God.
Although I felt that my parents loved me and my four siblings, our household did not always seem loving.
All God knows and creates is good, and He is the only power.
My daughter expressed concern the other day about what the future might hold for some animals we had seen.
It was natural for me to let the idea of God as Love inspire my prayers.
Love does not impart hatred, fear, and intimidation.

No time to pray?

Bogged down by everything going on in your life, or in the world, and feeling like you have no time to pray about it? Try a new approach: Instead of waiting to pray later, use each moment to exchange suggestions of fear or worry for what God is telling you instead.
What can you do when relationships never seem to work out the way you want them to? This author shares his prayers about that question and how a shift to a more God-centric perspective blessed all his relationships—romantic and otherwise.

Prayer stopped the fighting

When life isn’t easy
