In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

DAILY DEFENSE

It is the Christian Scientist's joyous privilege, as well as his solemn duty, to obey, and to be protected by, the Rules and By-Laws of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

THE LAW OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND

THE subject of supply is an urgent one in world affairs at present.

Signs of the Times

One of Aesop's fables tells of a miller and his son leading their donkey to market to be sold.

TRUE CONCURRENCE

In all God's boundless spiritual universe, the only real universe, there is to be found neither disease nor disaster, contention nor collision, but only perpetual concord, safety, and well-being.
A Feeling of being left behind, of being lonely or unloved, is often the source of much secret anguish.
Students of Christian Science throughout the world recognize and acknowledge the unassailable and unique position of Mary Baker Eddy in the Christian Science movement as Discoverer, Founder, and Leader, and they recognize the fact that the full and final revelation of Truth has come through her; but they do not always recognize the necessity of putting Truth into practice.

DIVINE LAW AND ORDER

Christian Science brings the happy assurance that divine harmony and perfection are the ever-present and essential verities of God's creation, and that this harmony and perfection is perpetually maintained in obedience to unchanging spiritual law; that, as certainly as there is a created universe, just as surely is there a perfect law which governs it in exact order and according to unchanging divine purpose.

"NO RIDERS"

One often sees commercial trucks on the highways in the United States bearing a windshield placard saying, "No Riders," probably placed there as a protection to the driver and vehicle.

"NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE"

When Christ Jesus said to the woman under the condemnation of the scribes and Pharisees, "Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more".

NO FATHERLESS OR WIDOWS

The concept of God as wholly masculine was prevalent for many centuries, and while the Scriptures contain a number of statements of the fatherhood of God, they have very few references to the motherhood of God.
