In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Following Jesus’ example, no matter how the storms of daily life crash and rumble, we can meekly yield to God’s constant calm. 
A pure heart is a heart that sees God’s goodness all around.
As sings the mountain stream, 
      Past rock and verdure wild, 
So let me sing my way to You,
     Your pure and happy child.
When I walked back and forth across that concrete, I showed that sweet donkey what was real all along. And when we are struggling with something difficult, prayer does that for us. 

Bowling alone? 

I’ve found that isolation and diminishing social capital can be addressed effectively through prayer—through growing closer to God and gaining a better understanding of Him as our Father-Mother.
At the airport, this teen was faced with flight delays, cancellations, and angry fellow passengers. But how could turning to God help in a situation like this?

Reality check 

Realizing that I had nothing to fear, I was at peace, and the attacks ended.

Let God’s will be done 

When you pray, remember the powerful significance of the words “Thy will be done” and of what Jesus did for you—for all of us—that night in the garden of Gethsemane.
I have the distinct feeling that Christian Science found me, as opposed to my finding it, and it certainly hasn’t left me where it found me.

The kingdom within 

Practicing Christian Science commences with understanding how our thinking impacts our experience and seeing to it that in prayer our thinking consistently commences with God and His creation.
On a road trip, this author had a thought out of the blue that she needed to slow down, even though she was going the speed limit! But when she did, she learned an important lesson about the power of following God’s guidance. 
This high school graduate had no idea what his future held, but studying Christian Science opened more doors than he could have imagined.
