we have experienced many healings and other proofs of God's omnipotence and omnipresence and then seem to become mesmerized by mortal mind's lurid pictures of hate, war, lack, malice, destruction, and disaster, so that we find ourselves deep in a cave of despondency and despair, it is very helpful to read of the trials and victories of Elijah, as given in the seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth chapters of I Kings.
