Walking on God's safety avenue

When ethnic or racial strife provokes fear, we need more than protection for ourselves. We need the spiritual love that melts hatred and supplies courage.

Don't forget your fan!

The first day of school was always so exciting.
It's probably obvious that love is better than hate. But what makes it possible for us to change from distrusting, and even hating, to being more loving?
The Bible tells us to have that Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus." This Mind brings to light what is true.
God is divine Mind. To grasp something of this basic spiritual fact can transform our view of ourselves and our lives.

When the children have grown and left home, is it too late to continue to learn lessons about parenting? Not according to this writer, whose prayer brought new growth and experience.

"I just wanted them all to like me"

A new school means new friends, doesn't it? Well, what can you do if you don't find those friends?

Good doesn't stop

We can see God's goodness. It shows up in love, in happiness, and in healing.
