In the scriptural book of Luke, John the Baptist tells his followers of the coming of Christ Jesus, and he describes him as the one who will baptize “with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.
“Here is a model of hope for humanity,” says this writer. “Whatever tries to tear us apart, to divide us, to destroy all that is good, to claim that it’s more powerful than God, is a liar. And when it’s exposed as such, it can be proved powerless.”
