In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

No penalties for trusting God!

My friend played goalie for his local ice hockey club—and loved every minute of it! When he moved to Australia with his family, he played lots of other sports, some of which were completely new to him, but there was no ice hockey.

You are unfallen

All of us "live, and move, and have our being" in God, divine Life. This is our heritage, right here and right now.

"He who guards you never sleeps"

The bullet simply had stopped and fallen harmlessly to the floor.

I was told that my neighbor and I were to be called as witnesses for the prosecution at the trial. I knew that I would have to describe accurately what I had seen. At the same time I could silently bear witness to the truth of man's sinless individuality under God's perfect law.

Money and family harmony

The Christly view of man awakens one to the truth about himself and those he cares about. It causes Love's will to be expressed.

For us to grow spiritually, what is most necessary isn't simply greater faith or more knowledge. Above all, if we are to progress, our lives must be moved by grace.

Listen

Through my study of Christian Science, I've learned to develop a spiritual form of listening.

But what about relationships that aren't loving or kind, that have become bitter mini-wars?

The healing works of Jesus were not supernatural miracles but were based on a demonstrable divine law. The same kind of healing is possible and is going on today.

Disasters are not inevitable

The first time the weather channel announced that a severe tornado was heading our way, I literally went into a closet and shut the door.

Jesus' works were considered miraculous because, from the human point of view, they altered reality. But from the spiritual viewpoint, the material picture was never real.

God—our friend forever!

Do you know who is your friend forever?
