In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Group prays for community healing

This report by Stephanie McClelland was originally published in March in The Northwest Herald, a daily newspaper in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

God's ever-operative laws

When my state-of-the-art printer for my computer began turning out a lot of indecipherable gibberish, and finally refusing to work at all, I called the nearest factory-authorized repair shop and made an appointment to take it in.

In a flash I had the answer to the engineering problem, and it was simple, elegant, and inexpensive.

I suddenly realized how I had been saved from falling!

Grace for today

Just as the sun shines on all without exception, so God's grace is available to all.

The boys in my family spent last summer working construction at a local house being built by Habitat for Humanity.
The title, Moments of Grace, comes from my belief that by living through the moments when we face our ordeals, we receive grace: the wonderful lessons that are ours forever, that enrich our presence here and provide a layer of understanding we would not otherwise have.

Abiding constantly with this idea that God is with us, we see His grace revealed in our lives.

I knew I could trust God to show me how to truly know these children, and how to let them know they're valued and loved.

To wipe out prejudice

Christian Science has gently worked a purification of thought and heart within me, freeing me from those false, fearand hatebased teachings of childhood.

Self-forgiveness

Does guilt serve a purpose in God's plan?

Trusting God totally

Matt wasn't going to be tricked into believing a lie.
