In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Finding Fluffy

Our Sunday School teacher had told us that we can think of God as our best friend. When we have a problem, we can ask God for help.
By prayerfully listening for God’s guidance—loving God and yielding to His universal good will—you and I can contribute mightily to healing our planet and its atmosphere.

Clinging to the past?

I watched the bruises disappear from my face in a matter of seconds.
Divine Love lights the way and guides each of us in overcoming unhealthy thoughts and suggestions so we can feel the dominion that results in healing.

Who can we trust?

Joseph’s story in the Bible is a powerful illustration of the fact that human institutions may fail, and friends and family can fall short, but divine Truth never fails us.

If you’re feeling homesick

Love is everywhere because God is everywhere. So I could find love anywhere I went, including in America and at my new school.
I asked myself, Am I looking exclusively to a person for security and happiness, or am I relying on a firm foundation of divine wisdom?

Scared to fly?

This teen already wasn’t a fan of flying, but when the turbulence started, he really started to get scared. How could he find an inner calm when the fear seemed so intense? A fellow passenger’s example helped his prayers take off.
This week’s photographic inspiration and related text.
One  morning during the summer my ear started hurting.
Tucked away in the book of Joel in the Bible is God’s promise “I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten”.
The way in which everything worked out seemed almost unbelievable.
