THE REWARDS OF SERVICE

Millions of people who are donating time to worthy causes and providing care for family members and friends draw comfort from the words of Jesus, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends".
Volunteerism is up in the United States. Why? Have people simply got too much time on their hands? Obviously not. We think there's a deeper, more spiritual reason motivating those of all ages and incomes (and not only in the US) to give of themselves and their time.
