I’ve been thinking a lot about Thanksgiving.
A few years ago, our daughter, who was very young at the time, said something I still haven’t forgotten.
A couple of weeks ago, I came upon a box filled with all kinds of keys—big ones, little ones, shiny ones, some that looked a hundred years old.
One evening in April 1992, a friend and I were taking our twice-weekly walk in the Santa Monica mountains to the north of Los Angeles.
