A Thanksgiving service was held by the Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Lyceum Parlors, last night at its regular week-day meeting.

God Changes Not

In our ceaseless longing to gain a higher understanding of God and live better lives, we war in thought with our surroundings, and keep pulling the cords of error closer and closer by ever recurring to the hope that to-morrow, next week, or perhaps the coming year we shall be in a changed position where we can make greater demonstrations or see more clearly the Light.
