The path out of hatred

There is a growing conviction in my heart that people and places that seem consumed with hatred can be viewed with healing compassion that can melt even the most egregious forms of hatred.
God never sentences His loved offspring to be on the receiving end of any evil, reactive influence. God is good alone; God doesn’t send evil, use evil, or allow evil.

The demand for church

I like to think of each church that grows up in a community as that community's answered prayer for the presence of the saving Christ—the message of God's love for humanity.

Every question I had ever had concerning God was answered, until not one single doubt of His existence remained.

I remembered to listen only to God and His good thoughts. The stomachache didn’t come back, and I enjoyed the rest of my time at camp.
It’s comforting to glimpse in prayer how, in every corner of existence and in every corner of thought, God, including God’s pure goodness, is present—the only presence. In reality, there exists absolutely nothing to react negatively to God.
The usher didn’t miss a beat and warmly invited me in without any other comment. It turned out that I very much needed the atmosphere of peace I felt at the service that morning, and I was very grateful that I was a welcome visitor.

What should I do now?

It’s natural for each of us to hear and follow divine direction when we realize that we’re never separated from its source—the infinite, all-loving, and all-good Mind, God.
I wasn’t helpless. I’ve known since I was a little kid that I can always turn to God for help.
By paying attention to God’s healing messages, I understood that neither burnout nor a sleep disorder is any part of God or His creation. Why? Because God, divine Mind, is the inexhaustible source of all movement, energy, and intelligence—and our source as well.
We all want peace in our lives and the world, and Christian Science teaches that to find that peace, it is essential to watch our thoughts as Christ Jesus taught when he said, “What I say unto you I say unto all, Watch” (Mark 13:37).
I took home several copies of The Herald of Christian Science from the Christian Science Reading Room. The testimonies of healing in the magazines inspired me so much that I realized everyone could perform such healings if we understood and applied these teachings.
As clear thinkers, we are clear pray-ers, and we can see the results of our prayers in our lives.
