In the notes on the International Sunday School Lesson reference is made to Christian Science; and in commenting on the healing by Christ Jesus of the man who was blind from his birth the following statement is made: "Jesus did not talk to the blind man of the 'delusions of mortal mind.
A writer in the Bee reverts to the common notion of the reality of evil because it is evident to the senses that evil exists.
Under the title, "The Cross of Christ," in a recent issue of the Gazette, reference is made to those who have "become Christian Scientists and no longer believe that there is such a thing as death; and that hence they could not believe that Jesus died for sins.
To the bystander witnessing the periodical "flaying" of Christian Science on the part of its clerical and other opponents,—for the most part the clerical,—the enduring vitality of the victim must seem at least remarkable.
