Comments by a well-known religionist, reported in your issue of January 13, may have given your readers misleading impressions regarding Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science, and I should appreciate an opportunity to say something in defense of the facts.

May I have a little space in your "Letter Box" to correct a misconception of Christian Science given a few days ago in this same department by a contributor?

"The accepted time"

When we are asked to render some service to another, perhaps to go on an errand or to perform some little duty in the household, how frequently there seems to arise a disinclination to do the thing immediately! Something seems to whisper that half an hour or an hour hence, or perhaps even tomorrow, would do just as well, and that it would be much more easily done if we could put it off a little while.

As a Little Child
